My name is Pat McMahon. Before establishing Quay Books, I had a career of 40 years as a public librarian.
I found that we visit a bookstore or a library in the hope of sometimes finding the beauty which exposes the world to us.
So, at Quay Books we try to be thoughtful, original, and entirely non-clichéd. We seek to provide books that lie beyond the mainstream: books that may not appear on bestseller lists or dominate radio programmes and newspaper supplements.
